Getting Started with Soli

Everything you need to create your account, explore the dashboard, and take your first steps with Soli Forms and Soli Line.

What Soli offers your practice

Soli provides two core products designed specifically for mental health professionals. Soli Forms handles intake paperwork, consent documents, clinical assessments, and client communication forms — all encrypted so that only your device can read submitted data. Soli Line gives your practice a dedicated phone number with encrypted messaging, voicemail, and an optional AI receptionist that answers calls when you are in session.

Both products are HIPAA-compliant and covered under a Business Associate Agreement. They work independently or together, depending on what your practice needs.

Creating your account

Visit auth.meetsoli.com and select the product you want to start with. You will provide your name, email address, and a strong password. Your password is critical — in Soli Forms, it is used to generate the encryption keys that protect your client data. Choose something memorable and unique. Soli cannot reset or recover encryption keys tied to a forgotten password.

After confirming your email, you will be taken to the dashboard. Every account begins with a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

What to expect during your trial

During the 14-day trial, every feature is unlocked. For Soli Forms, this means you can browse the full template library, create and publish forms, receive encrypted submissions, and set up automation flows. For Soli Line, you can provision a phone number, make and receive calls, send encrypted messages, and configure voicemail.

At the end of the trial, you will be prompted to choose a plan. If you decide not to continue, your account remains accessible in read-only mode — you can still view existing data, but you cannot create new forms or make calls until you subscribe.

Choosing between Forms and Line

If your primary concern is intake paperwork, consent forms, and managing new client inquiries through your website, start with Soli Forms. It includes pre-built templates for common therapy documents: Contact Us forms, Appointment Request forms, New Client Intake (short and full versions), Minor Intake, Consent to Treatment, Telehealth Consent, Practice Policies, Insurance Verification, Credit Card Authorization, Records Release, and clinical assessments like the PHQ-9 and GAD-7.

If you need a dedicated practice phone number so clients can call and text without reaching your personal phone, start with Soli Line. It provides a local or toll-free number, encrypted SMS, voicemail with transcription, and optional AI-powered call answering.

Many practices use both. Forms handles the digital paperwork; Line handles the phone communication. They share the same account and login.

First steps with Soli Forms

After signing in, the Home screen gives you an overview of recent activity. Navigate to Builder > Templates to browse the template library. Templates are organized into categories: Website and Scheduling, Intake and Onboarding, Consent and Agreements, Billing and Insurance, Records and Compliance, Clinical Assessments, and Practice Operations. Select any template to preview it, then click to create a form from it.

Once your form is ready, go to Builder > Publish to get the embed code for your website. You can also share a direct link. Submitted forms appear in your Inbox > Submissions — each one is encrypted and can only be read on your authorized device.

To group related forms together (for example, a consent form, intake form, and policies document that a new client should complete in one sitting), use the Bundles feature under Builder. Bundles let you package multiple forms into a single link.

First steps with Soli Line

After signing in, you will be guided through provisioning your first phone number. You can choose a local number in your area code or a toll-free number. If you already have a practice number, you can port it to Soli (the process typically takes 7 to 10 business days).

Once your number is active, you can immediately make and receive calls from the Soli Line desktop application. Set up your voicemail greeting, configure your business hours, and decide what happens when you are unavailable — calls can go to voicemail, forward to another number, or route to the AI receptionist if you have the Voice add-on or AI plan.

Send a test text message to your own phone to confirm everything is working. Then share your new practice number on your website, business cards, and directory listings.
